Good hut

My favourite caving hut in the Dales as members are welcoming and it has good facilities with a heating changing room, showers, two kitchens and multiple bunk rooms. In summer the garden is nice to sit in as long as the midges aren't out! The past part is how remote and quiet it is here. Love it

Excellent place for outdoor groups to explore the Caves and fells of the area.

10/10 would get drunk and go midnight caving here again

I used to visit there in the 80's when I was a member of the YSS (Yorkshire Subterranean Society). No heating, and spring water showers. Was better than getting changed at the roadside! Glad to hear of the improvements! The Farm is a great base to explore county pot and Lancaster hole, I am in my 60's now and have enduring memories of the place.

Always love a visit at the cave just behind the property

Out for a walk on a very wet and windy day. The potholers in the building allowed us inside to drink our morning coffee and use the toilets. Greatly appreciated. If the building is open I think you can use the facilities and leave a small donation if you like.

Great place! Amazing members

Was here in 2012 with my oldest 2 boys and their mate. Amazing place as a hub for caving. Lovely views, nice relaxed environment to start and finish your days activities. Yes I did try to go down, got so far had to turn back so left my boys to it, I went off with my camera exploring the surrounding area. Beautiful place and off the beaten track.
